Patrick McCreery is vice president of News and Marketing for the Meredith Local Media Group. He oversees the content and strategy of Meredith's 13 news operations, which combined produce nearly 700 hours of local news and entertainment content each week. McCreery has more than 20 years of experience in the broadcast industry and joined Meredith in April 2003. Prior to his current role, he served as vice president, general manager and news director of KPTV/KPDX-TV, Meredith's duopoly in Portland, Oregon. McCreery has also worked in television newsrooms in Phoenix, San Francisco, Toledo and Columbus. McCreery served on the board of the Oregon Association of Broadcasters for six years. Previously he served on numerous non-profit Boards including Lines for Life, Muscular Dystrophy Association and the American Heart Association. McCreery is a 1994 graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism.
