Michelle Duke is the vice president of the National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation (NABEF) where she is responsible for the day-to-day operations and helps to set the strategic direction for the nonprofit organization. In addition to nonprofit management, Duke specializes in program development and management. During her tenure at NABEF, she has created initiatives including the Leadership Development Program, the Technology Apprenticeship Program and the Connections Mentoring Program. In 2007, she began managing the NABEF Broadcast Leadership Training program, designed to train executive broadcasters to purchase stations or more into more senior-level executive positions. Michelle has been listed in Radio Ink's Most Influential Women in Radio in 2012 and 2013. She serves on the national board of the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation and as the board chair of the Washington Literacy Center. She has served as a board director and volunteered her time for numerous organizations. She received her Bachelor of Science in journalism from Middle Tennessee State University.
